I laughed out loud at your post! These are all the same frustrations I've had! They're just little robots without a brain. I even had several neighbors over to one house, then developed romantic relationships between all of them, make to male and female to male and female to female - they really don't see, to care - and then had them all woohoo with one another, right in front of husbands and wives, etc. you're right, it's very disconcerting! I've been adding sims to my town out of order using points, but now I wish I'd waited, because like you said everything is super expensive now. I wish they would develop more things for them to so. For instance, I built the nightclub, and while they can go there, you can't click on the DJ stand and have them dance to music like you can on the home stereos, you can't have them gt items from the bar, either. You can click on each other and top have them dance, but that action only lasts 10 seconds. The only other thing you can have them do there is sit at the tables and stare at one another! I'm thinking this game should be called The Stepford Sims... Hehe.
@Bookworm: I guess you're doing something wrong at the nightclub. When one sim becomes the Dj at the nightclub, the other sims can dance on the dance floor. When one sim becomes the bartender, other sims can buy drinks. You have to tap the Dj equipment on stage or the taps on the bar counter to have someone become a Dj or bartender.
Oh man the sims free play is so funny i let them married and they are all girls nd after thet i let them have a baby and it is a girl the while family is girls
I am new and I made all of them spew by shaking my device it was gross
Every thing complained about is The same thing I suffer from, This game could be improved a lot. It's a great game but I want more excitement. Like sex in a bed, in a hammock bathtub make it more realistic for God's sake! I want them to be able to grind on each other when they're at The night club but no... They're Just dancing Pfft. I guess since it's The 'freeplay. It's not supposed to be as fun as The Real thing...
Yeah, the strict PG rating is really stifling my creativity. The most stifling thing for me is that sex doesn't lead to babies, and there is no pregnancy! I guess we get what we pay for.
I actually had never played Sims game until Freeplay. I liked it enough that I bought Sims 4. Now having played both it's hard to pick a favorite. The options are obviously far superior in 4. The autonomy is great. Though it feels more like a dollhouse where Freeplay feels like a game. Freeplay has events and goals and rewards with new content/objects. 4 doesn't seem to have that kind of required interaction because if you want some new hairstyles you just download some CC from a plethora of sites. The jobs and even needs can be skipped with cheat codes. This is not bad. I like having that option. The one thing I like most about Freeplay over 4 is having my friends as neighbors and being able to visit their towns and interact with their Sims and vice versa. I know many in the Sims community are very against any kind of online/social aspect. Any time someone mentions wanting a social feature they get met with "go play Second Life then" or warnings about how Sims Online failed and they don't want a feature that would slow down their game. But I think the way Freeplay handles it is a nice compromise. You do not have to add friends. You do not have to go visit them or allow them to visit you. I just think it would be a nice option for those that want it.
