Hidden Springs Only Available Through EA Store?

I went shopping for Hidden Springs yesterday, because I'm very intrigued about all this talk of the "green people." But to my surprise I found that, unlike Barnacle Bay, it is only available through the Sims 3 store.
This is a problem for me for three reasons:
1. You have to buy store points. Technically it doesn't cost $22.50, it costs 2,250 SimPoints. Oh, but you might have noticed that you can only buy SimPoints in bundles. THAT IS HOW THEY GET YOU. In order to get Hidden Springs, I will actually have to spend $30 on SimPoints first.
Then I'll have 750 SimPoints points left over. Oh goody.

Deleting Stuck Sims 3 Moodlets

Moodlets were one of the biggest changes from Sims 2 to Sims 3. Most moodlets are pretty self-explanatory, but there are some rather mysterious ones! And sometimes moodlets can be stuck - or seem to be.
Moodlets have an affect on your Sim's mood, either positive (green) or negative (red). If you hover your mouse over a moodlet it will tell you how big the affect is (the number of points) as well as how long it lasts.

Early Look at the Sims 3 Unleashed (Pets) Expansion

The next expansion pack is due out this October. (Doesn't that seem like forever from now? Rest assured, you'll turn around and it will be here in the blink of an eye!) This one is their version of Pets, which I know is going to make a lot of hard core Pets fanatics happy. I know of at least two people who have continued to play Sims 2 all this time, just because it offered pets.
